Watercolor painting is the process of painting with pigments that are mixed with water. Watercolor is all about thin washes and transparent color, capturing light and shade in a most beautiful way. The watercolor techniques vary from artist to artist, from very loose and sketch-like to very controlled and realistic. I see my watercolor paintings as perfectly imperfect, and I find great joy in making them.
