Welcome to Sibella’s Art!

I’ve been an artist since childhood, and professionally for over twenty-five years. I received my education in Europe, more specifically Bosnia and Herzegovina, where I was born and raised. I am now a resident of Indiana, USA.

I enjoy painting in all sorts of mediums, and my favorite are soft pastel, oil pastel, watercolor, and acrylic. I also love printmaking, pottery, stained glass and jewelry making. One of my latest endeavors is granite etching.

I choose my subjects spontaneously. If something speaks to my heart, I will paint it.  I find myself frequently being inspired by people, animals and nature. I often paint commissioned art and always enjoy a challenge. I have exhibited in group and individual shows in the area I live. Some of my paintings have been published in magazines and newspapers in the US and some of my work has recently been published in my home country, in a collective book of Bosnian artists. Most of my paintings are in private collections in numerous US states and Europe.
