The acrylic paint was developed in 1930’s in Germany as a formula of water, acrylic resin and particles of pigment. It became very popular because it dries fast, doesn’t crack and can be done on pretty much any kind of surface. The acrylic paints are elastic and easy to paint with. Once they dry, they are solid and can be varnished and preserved for a long time. I enjoy painting with acrylics and below are some examples of my acrylic work.
